About Syside

Syside is a SysML v2 tool for high-performance modeling, analysis, collaboration and integration, available in VS Code, Python and on the command line. It treats the textual model as a first-class citizen, enabling programmatic model analysis, automation and software engineering workflows.

  • Syside VS Code Extension - SysML v2 language support as you type, in VS Code and compatible editors such as Cursor, Kiro and VSCodium. Generates configurable visualizations, creates editable tables from your models, adds tab for saved model views and more.
  • Syside Python Library & CLI - one package on PyPI holding a Python library and the syside commands, for validating models, generating diagrams, ReqIF support, building tooling of your own and running Syside in CI/CD.
